Sonnet from a broken heart

if only i could utter the words in my heart,

maybe i could stop it from breaking apart.

or if i could stop myself from falling in love,

maybe i wouldn't cry for the love i couldn't have.
oh, how i wish i could stop it from breaking and refrain,

myself from hopeless daydreaming.

then maybe i guess the pain will subdue and maybe again, 

i wouldn't say i love you,
but i can't because you're in my heart, 

your love will always remind thd times we shared, 

the mem'ries i can't leave behind 

and after all these years of learning to forget you, 

its the easiest thing i cannot do cause i know in my heart ,

i'm still in love with you
